Job Description

We are looking for an experienced software engineer to contribute towards the CUDA driver and runtime, a core component of the CUDA parallel computing platform and programming model developed by NVIDIA for general computing on graphical processing units (GPUs). The candidate must have the ability to prioritize well, communicate clearly, work across multiple aspects of the project, and juggle responsibilities with speed and agility. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who is looking to grow their career in an innovative, fast paced environment.

What you'll be doing:

As a part of our team, you will apply your expertise to design innovative solutions in a critical piece of system software at NVIDIA. Specifically -

  • Build and maintain features in CUDA for multiple NVIDIA platforms

  • Contribute towards all aspects of SDLC, and collaborate across multiple teams

  • Write effective, maintainable, and well-tested production level code

  • Participate in the development of proprietary and open computing standards

  • Contribute to development of next-generation GPUs in collaboration with HW teams at NVIDIA

What we need to see:

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent 5+ years of demonstrated experience

  • System SW development life cycle experience

  • Strong knowledge of C/C++, good understanding of computer architecture and OS fundamentals (Linux, QNX or similar modern OS)

  • Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills

  • Self motivated with a passion to work on challenging problems in a dynamic environment

  • Great teammate with good communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to lead from the front, and work independently with minimal direction

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Previous experience with CUDA, System Programming, SDLC

  • Expertise in Parallel Programming

  • Familiarity with AI tools
