Technical/Functional Skills from the Role
- Candidate should have strong hands-on experience on Checkpoint NGFW firewall & WAF
- Deploy, configure, and manage Check Point Firewalls (R80.x or higher), including Policy creation, define rules/objects/optimization and firewall upgradation
- NAT and VPN configurations (Site-to-Site, Remote Access)
- Threat Prevention, IPS, and Identity Awareness
- Signature management and false-positive handling
- Bot protection, DoS mitigation, and application security tuning
- F5 WAF (ASM / Advanced WAF) Manage, configure, and tune F5 Web Application Firewall (ASM / Advanced WAF) including Policy creation, tuning, and learning mode
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, and Layer 7 inspection
- Experience with reverse proxying, and load balancing concepts
- Strong troubleshooting skills using packet captures (tcpdump, Wireshark) and F5/Check Point logs
- Candidate should have strong hands-on experience on SIEM (Trellix Helix), Threat Intelligence
- Responsible for incident, problems, service request and change tasks assigned to support queue in Service Now ticketing application
