Description
Responsible for providing dedicated digital support, both for the historical applications and new applications utilized by Configuration Management & Technical Records. Additionally, aid in support of merging several FAA Approved and FAA Accepted IT systems/applications that CMTR is responsible for maintaining per GMM requirements and UA Operational Specifications.
Job Responsibilities
- Extract datasets from various sources (e.g. CRM systems, web analytics tools) using SQL queries or ETL (extract, transform, load) tools
- Use scripting languages (e.g. Python, R) or specialized tools (e.g. Spotfire, Power BI) to automate data preparation steps
- Collaborate with data engineers to resolve data integrity issues at the source when required. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements
- Translate business objectives into technical specifications and system requirements. Translate user stories or specifications into technical tasks
- Develop interactive dashboards to present insights in a clear and intuitive format
- Set up application monitoring and logging. Perform updates or patches to address vulnerabilities or critical bugs
- Ability to project scope and collect business requirements to build innovation and enhancement to the internal departmental tools and workflows

Qualifications
What's needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of aviation data experience
- Oracle, C#, Python, SQL, PS1, Github, PowerBI, Palantir/Foundry, Visual Studio, Spotfire, other Microsoft Suite products
