Survey Programmer Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Program and script online surveys using survey software platforms (e.g.,Decipher, Confirmit).
• When not programming yourself, effectively manage the current programming team to ensure programming is completed on time and on budget
- Collaborate with research teams and customers to understand survey requirements and translate them into effective survey designs.
- Attend client Kick-off meeting providing programming consultation to understand project requirements and timelines as required by customers and internal stakeholders
- Test and troubleshoot surveys to ensure they function correctly across various devices and browsers
- Perform data quality checks and validation to ensure the accuracy and integrity of survey data.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to internal teams and survey respondents.
- Maintain detailed documentation of survey programming and fieldwork processes.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in survey programming.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Market Research, or a related field with a minimum of 10 6 8 years relevant experience.
- Proven experience in survey programming and scripting using platforms such as Decipher, Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, Confirmit, or similar tools.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant programming languages.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with data processing and statistical analysis tools (e.g., SPSS, R, Python) is a plus.
- Knowledge of market research methodologies and survey design principles is preferred.
