We are seeking a highly skilled technical engineer with hands-on experience in troubleshooting and developing IT solutions, specifically focused on L3/L4 support for in-house applications at State Street. This role involves:
Diagnosing and resolving complex developer issues.
Maintaining and enhancing application stability and performance.
Managing release cycles and overseeing day-to-day deliverables.
Handling major incidents and coordinating cross-functional teams to resolve production issues efficiently.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, technical depth, and the capability to work collaboratively across departments in a dynamic enterprise environment.

As a L4 Lead you will:
Analyze and develop high quality software solution aligned to the business goals
Should be able to work independently and collaboratively
Should have excellent understanding programming, solid analytical and problem-solving skills
Demonstrates the ability to quickly adopt new and competitive skills, driving efficiency and operational excellence.
Experience dealing with users or clients from either a technical or business area. Desire to work in Client facing environment.
Install, configure and test product problem investigation database configuration, tracing and performance analysis.
Provide advanced technical expertise in debugging and maintain software applications and work with development team to resolve issues.
This role requires predominantly hands-on development as well as L3/L4 support work and ownership on deliverables as an individual contributor
Experience required in:
Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in Computer Science or related experience.
Minimum 7+ years of experience in software development/Maintenance/Support.
Must have 6+ years of experience and must have very strong experience in Oracle PLSQL, SQL, Performance Tuning
Must have 5+ Years of experience on UNIX scripting
Must have 3+ years of ETL tool experience
Excellent knowledge on Oracle database objects (especially indexes, Partitioning and Views)
Excellent knowledge in Oracle SQL, String, Number and Date functions and Analytical functions (RSUM, LEAD, LAG, RANK, DENSE, etc.) usage
Excellent knowledge on Oracle database architecture and various components
Excellent knowledge of Data warehouse, Type of Schemas and Dimensional Modeling.
Basic knowledge on Core Java ,XML,JSON, Cloud Concepts
Deep experience in requirements analysis and system design is required
Experience in gathering and analyzing business requirements is required
Proven problem solving, communication, interpersonal and analytical skills are required.
Job entails working with senior people in user community and other IT shared service groups in State Street so strong communication skills is a must.
Translating business requirements into actionable Technical specifications is required.
Interact with business to understand and trouble shoot business problems.

Education & Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
Oracle PLSQL, SQL, Oracle Performance Tuning, ETL tool, UNIX shell scripting, Java
Knowledge in Azure, Snowflake Database technologies is a plus.
