Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in supply planning, preferably within a manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience with MRP systems
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles, planning methodologies, and best practices
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and data analysis
- Demonstrated ability to manage supplier relationships and drive performance outcomes
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Self-driven with a strong sense of ownership and a results-oriented mindset
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams
- Proven track record of meeting deadlines and delivering against targets
Key Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end supply planning for assigned commodities, ensuring alignment with customer demand and project timelines
- Execute supplier allocations based on customer schedules, supplier capacity, contractual agreements, and inventory positions
- Analyze item-level demand versus capacity to identify and proactively mitigate supply risks
- Develop and manage ramp-up and ramp-down plans for new product introductions (NPI)
- Provide early risk visibility to Delivery Managers and lead supplier recovery plans to mitigate delays, liquidated damages, or penalties
- Own vendor performance metrics, with a focus on improving On-Time Delivery (OTD)
- Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for vendors, coordinating cross-functionally with Procurement, Sourcing, NPI, and Logistics teams
- Establish and maintain robust communication protocols across the value chain to ensure transparency and proactive issue resolution
- Lead weekly supplier reviews covering purchase orders, raw materials, forecasts, quality, and logistics updates
- Participate in and contribute to supplier QBRs, driving continuous improvement and partnership effectiveness
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance supply planning efficiency and accuracy
- Support the testing, adoption, and scaling of Anaplan to strengthen planning system capabilities
- Prepare and present reports and insights on supply planning performance and risks
