Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kozhikode for a Senior Study Abroad Counselor at EduBird Overseas. The Senior Counselor will be responsible for guiding students through the process of studying abroad, including advising on university selection, assisting with application documentation, providing guidance on scholarship opportunities and financial planning, and supporting students with visa and pre-departure preparations. The role involves conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, staying updated on study abroad opportunities and requirements, and collaborating with educational institutions to ensure smooth admissions for students. Strong communication with both students and parents is essential to provide expert and personalized support throughout their journey.

Qualifications

• Advisory skills, including expertise in counseling students on university selection, application guidance, and study abroad processes.
• Organizational and administrative skills to manage admissions, documentation, and visa processes effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with students, parents, and educational institutions.
• Knowledge of scholarship programs, financial aid options, and other resources to assist students pursuing education abroad.
• Proficiency in research and the ability to stay updated on international education policies, trends, and opportunities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing student concerns and challenges.
• Previous experience in educational consultancy, career counseling, or a related field is highly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, International Relations, or a related field is preferred.
