Senior Student Advisor (UK Study Abroad) – Job Description

Role Purpose:

Support and advise prospective students throughout the UK study abroad journey, from counselling and university selection to application, admission, visa, and pre-departure processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Counsel students on UK universities, courses, and career pathways.
• Guide students through applications, admissions, and document preparation.
• Provide support for visa applications and compliance requirements.
• Conduct follow-ups to ensure application conversion and enrolment targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with students, parents, and university partners.
• Mentor junior advisors and handle complex student cases.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in UK education counselling or study abroad advising.
• Strong knowledge of UK university admissions and student visa processes.
• Excellent communication, counselling, and relationship-management skills.
• Proven ability to achieve student recruitment and conversion targets.
