Senior Structural Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our Italy (ITA) Team and contribute to complex structural engineering projects from our Bangalore office.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver structural engineering and design activities for building projects.
• Perform structural analysis, design reviews, assessments, and technical evaluations.
• Lead/support structural retrofitting and rehabilitation projects, including assessment of existing structures and development of strengthening solutions.
• Prepare and review structural calculations, drawings, specifications, technical reports, and design deliverables.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable international building codes, standards, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, project managers, clients, and other multidisciplinary teams.
• Review technical deliverables and provide engineering guidance to junior and mid-level engineers.
• Identify structural issues and develop safe, practical, and cost-effective engineering solutions.
• Participate in design reviews, technical discussions, and project coordination meetings.

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of professional experience in structural engineering.
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering.
• Mandatory: Proven experience in structural retrofitting, rehabilitation, strengthening, or assessment of existing buildings.
• Strong knowledge of structural design principles for reinforced concrete and steel structures.
• Strong understanding of international building codes and standards.
• Experience working on international projects will be an advantage.
• Proficiency in structural analysis/design software such as ETABS, STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, or equivalent.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage technical deliverables and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
