Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Structural Engineer role based in Jharsuguda. The Senior Structural Engineer will lead and review structural design and analysis for infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements. Responsibilities include preparing and validating structural calculations, overseeing detailed design and construction drawings, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and clients throughout the project lifecycle. The role involves conducting site visits, inspections, and technical assessments, as well as resolving design and construction issues in a timely and pragmatic manner. The Senior Structural Engineer will also mentor junior engineers, contribute to quality assurance processes, and support proposal development and technical documentation.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering, with demonstrated experience on infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in Structural Analysis and design, including preparation and review of structural Calculations for various materials and systems.
- Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for producing and reviewing structural drawings and detailing.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's degree preferred) from an accredited institution.
- Relevant professional licensure or eligibility to obtain it, along with knowledge of applicable codes and standards.
- Proven ability to lead project tasks, supervise junior team members, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a focus on accuracy, safety, and constructability.
- Experience with infrastructure sectors such as bridges, industrial structures, buildings, or transportation facilities is an advantage.
