We require a Senior Structural Engineer to provide structural engineering expertise on projects in India, Africa and the Middle East from our office in Navi Mumbai.
Working with a technical team providing specialised services to our clients is a great opportunity for a design engineer to gain additional and more senior experience interacting with renowned national and international consultants on exciting projects in India and abroad.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead structural design and prepare construction drawings to Indian, British and American Standards.
- Coordinate with architects, building services engineers, and other structural engineers.
- Guide and mentor CAD technicians and Junior and Intermediate Structural Engineers.
- Ensure that allocated works are completed within the program timeline and allocated budget.
- Ensure Associate and Directors are kept informed of important and relevant service/design decisions, and that the objectives of the company and the client are achieved.
- Carry out some business development work for the company.
- Carry out arithmetical checks and independent design reviews of another engineer's design.
- Responsible for the correctness and accuracy of own work and the work of allocated to the team members.
- Give site backup on technical/design issues, where required.
- Visit sites to address design-related issues as and when required.
- Attend meetings with local authorities, and coordination meetings with other departments and Clients as and when required.
- Manage the statutory compliance of an organisation, and liaison with local authorities and government bodies.
- Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to health and safety and quality management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in civil engineering or Master's in structural engineering degree.
- Thorough knowledge/design experience in RCC and Structural steel design and construction
- 8 to 12 years of post-degree experience in structural engineering, client-facing, coordination and some site supervision.
- Competent in the use of software packages i.e. ETABS, SAFE, RCDC and the Microsoft suite of products.
- Familiar with Indian, British and American Codes.
- Member of the Institution of Engineers (India) or working towards chartered membership of the Institute of Structural Engineers (IStructE) or civil equivalent.
- Be commercially aware.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication, presentation and organisational skills.
- Have a flexible attitude to both the type of work undertaken and the level of responsibility accepted.
