Senior Structural Engineer

Job location: Muscat Oman

Lead medium sized structural and civil engineering projects, acting as the focal point for the Structural Engineering discipline Projects assigned and assuming full responsibility for design, coordination, and delivery of the structural scope.

Requirements:

Master's or Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering

Minimum of 10-15 years of consultancy experience

Prior experience in Oman and/or the GCC is preferred

Strong leadership capability with proven experience taking responsibility for complex projects

Broad knowledge of different structural design aspects (geotechnical engineering and heavy

foundations, water retaining structures, VE considerations from different structural systems etc.)

Proficient in ETABS, SAFE, and ROBOT ( Modeling and load application )

Fluent in English

Expertise in advanced structural design methodologies, including:

oSeismic and dynamic analysis

oAcquittance in Eurocode and American standards.

oUse of vibration analysis techniques and tools to assess structural performance under dynamic loads in accordance with international standards

Fluent in English

Preferred Experience:

Experience in large-scale commercial, residential, Hospital or industrial building projects.
