Job Description

Jain and Associates is a leading Architecture and Landscape Architecture firm in India. We have completed more than 1200 projects in India. We primarily design large scale govt projects.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Engineer to lead the Structure design for projects.

Responsibilities

  • Design and analyze retaining walls and RCC structures, ensuring compliance with IS codes and BIS standards.

  • Conduct structural calculations, load assessments, and stability checks for foundations, beams, slabs, and columns.

  • Prepare and review structural drawings, specifications, and reports.

  • Utilize structural analysis software such as STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE, and AutoCAD for accurate modeling and design.

  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and consultants to ensure seamless project execution.

  • Provide structural solutions for challenging site conditions, including soil stability, seismic considerations, and drainage impact on retaining walls.

  • Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.

  • Optimize structural designs for cost-effectiveness and sustainability, considering material selection and construction techniques.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from a recognized institution.

  • 3-6 years of experience in designing retaining walls and RCC structures for commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.

  • Strong proficiency in STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE, AutoCAD, and other structural analysis software.

  • In-depth knowledge of IS codes, BIS standards, and other relevant structural design guidelines.

  • Experience in performing structural calculations, seismic analysis, and load assessments for various building types.

  • Ability to coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, and contractors to ensure design feasibility and execution.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to develop efficient and cost-effective structural solutions.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for preparing reports, presentations, and client coordination.

  • Experience in site visits, inspections, and structural audits to verify construction compliance with design standards.

  • Preference will be given to candidates with LEED or GRIHA experience for sustainable structural design.
