We are looking for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to take a senior role in structural design, project delivery, technical coordination, quality assurance, and mentoring junior engineers.

Job Description

The role involves delivering structural engineering projects with minimum supervision while maintaining high standards of technical quality, accuracy, and timely delivery. The candidate will work closely with CORE and BEST teams and coordinate with architects, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in RCC and steel structures, structural analysis and design, and preferably experience with Dubai Municipality regulations, American Standards, and Middle East construction practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering projects and assigned tasks with minimum supervision.
• Carry out structural analysis, design, calculations, modelling, and manual checks for RCC and steel structures.
• Design structures in accordance with Dubai Municipality regulations, American Standards, and applicable codes.
• Prepare and review structural drawings, calculations, reports, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, consultants, and other disciplines.
• Follow QA, document control, and technical review procedures.
• Supervise delegated work and ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Identify and communicate technical issues, project risks, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate with the BEST team regarding project progress and technical requirements.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and contribute to technical training.
• Participate in team meetings and support technical excellence across projects.

Project Experience

Experience in the design of building structures across sectors such as:

• Industrial facilities
• Multistorey residential buildings
• Commercial buildings
• Hospitality projects including hotels, resorts, and restaurants

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of relevant structural engineering experience.
• B.Tech in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
• M.Tech in Structural Engineering is preferred.
• Strong experience in RCC and steel structural design.
• Experience in structural analysis and design of building projects.
• Proficiency in ETABS, STAAD/STAAD.Pro, SAFE, SAP2000, and SP Column.
• Working knowledge of Revit Structures and AutoCAD is preferred.
• Good understanding of Dubai Municipality regulations, American codes, and Middle East construction practices.
• Strong technical, analytical, communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Dubai Municipality License, Chartered Engineer, P.E., or equivalent is an advantage.
• Previous experience with Dubai/Middle East projects is preferred.
