Job Description: Senior Structural Designer - RCC

Industry: Luxury Villa Real Estate

Location: Dadar, Mumbai

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Design Professional with strong RCC expertise to lead all structural engineering aspects of luxury villa projects. The role involves designing, reviewing, certifying, and managing structural deliverables, ensuring compliance with codes, quality standards, safety norms, budgets, and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and certify structural drawings promptly, including inhouse design work.
• Propose costeffective, innovative structural designs and alternative materials without compromising integrity.
• Develop structural models using software tools (ETABS, AutoCAD, Revit).
• Assess loads and environmental pressures impacting structures.
• Ensure construction safety compliance and monitor onsite activities.
• Collaborate closely with contractors, architects, and project managers.
• Manage budgeting, progress tracking, reporting, and contract administration.
• Obtain necessary planning/building approvals and provide technical advice.
• Lead and supervise teams within a consultancy environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering (BE/ME).
• Valid license to practice as a Structural Designer.
• 7 to 10 years of relevant structural engineering experience.
• Proven record in luxury villa and residential real estate projects.
• Expertise in ETABS, AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office.
• Strong knowledge of structural codes and design best practices.
• Experience leading teams and managing projects effectively.
