Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-orientedSenior Structural Design Engineerto lead the structural design, analysis of industrial, commercial, and institutional projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that all structures meet safety, durability, and performance requirements while complying with national and international standards. The role involves close coordination with architects, MEP teams, and
project managers to ensure seamless design integration and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and reviewstructural design calculations, drawings, and technical specificationsfor concrete, steel, and composite structures.
- Ensure design compliance withIS codes,NBC,ACI,AISC, or other relevant international standards.
- Conductstructural feasibility studies, design optimization, and value engineering for cost-effective solutions.
- Review and approvedesign deliverablesprepared by junior engineers and CAD technicians.
- Coordinate witharchitectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing teamsfor design integration and clash resolution.
- Performload calculations, foundation design, and reinforcement detailingas per project requirements.
- Conductsite inspectionsto ensure design implementation, monitor quality, and resolve on-site technical challenges.
- Prepare and maintaindesign basis reports (DBRs), calculation sheets, and project documentation.
- Participate intender preparation, provide technical inputs, and support bid evaluations.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers to enhance design quality and technical skills within the team.
Qualifications & Skills
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency inSTAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAFE,andAutoCAD
- Knowledge ofReinforced Concrete, Structural Steel Design, andFoundation Engineering
- Strong understanding ofseismic design, wind load analysis, andindustrial structure design
- Familiarity withBIM platforms(Revit Structures preferred)
- Expertise in interpretingIS, BS, ACI, and Eurocode standards
Soft Skills:
- Excellentanalytical, problem-solving, and decision-makingskills
- Strongcoordination and communicationabilities across multidisciplinary teams
- Ability tolead and mentorjunior staff effectively
- Attention to detail with a focus on safety, quality, and project timelines
