Role Overview

The Senior Store Manager will lead the GK-1 flagship outlet, ensuring exceptional customer experience, operational excellence, sales performance, and brand representation. This role requires a strong mix of luxury retail management, people leadership, and business acumen.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Customer Experience
  • Drive monthly and annual sales targets with a strong focus on conversion and upselling.
  • Build strong client relationships, manage VIP clientele, and ensure a luxury service experience.
  • Implement clienteling practices (database management, follow-ups, personal invites for launches).
Store Operations & Visual Merchandising
  • Oversee daily operations including inventory control, billing, stock reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Ensure global-standard visual merchandising and brand presentation.
  • Coordinate with HO for replenishments, product launches, and in-store events.
Team Management
  • Lead, train, and motivate the store team to deliver excellent service and achieve sales KPIs.
  • Manage roster, performance appraisals, and staff discipline in line with brand values.
  • Build a culture of ownership and accountability.
Business & Reporting
  • Track sales performance, analyze trends, and share weekly/monthly reports with management.
  • Manage costs, control shrinkage, and optimize store profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and statutory requirements.
Key Skills & Competencies
  • Proven track record of 58 years in luxury/premium retail store management (fashion, lifestyle, or home dcor).
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an emphasis on customer engagement and retention.
  • Business acumen: ability to analyze data, identify growth opportunities, and execute strategies.
  • Passion for luxury lifestyle, design, and customer-centric retailing.
