Senior Storage Administrator

Description

We are seeking a skilled Senior Storage Administrator with 5-12 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in storage technologies and be able to manage large-scale storage environments. They should also have experience with backup and recovery solutions, as well as experience with cloud-based storage solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage large-scale storage environments
• Provide support for backup and recovery solutions
• Work with cloud-based storage solutions
• Manage storage infrastructure and capacity planning
• Ensure storage systems are highly available, secure and reliable
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure storage solutions meet business requirements
• Develop and maintain storage documentation and procedures

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 5-12 years of experience in storage administration
• Strong knowledge of storage technologies such as SAN, NAS and DAS
• Experience with backup and recovery solutions such as Veritas NetBackup
• Experience with cloud-based storage solutions such as AWS S3
• Strong knowledge of RAID, clustering and virtualization technologies
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell
• Certifications in storage technologies such as EMC, NetApp or HP are preferred
