Job Description

In your new role you will:

  • Lead software development (including front-end, back-end and DevOps)for cloud native applications using microservice architecture.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of code changes from development to deployment, including code reviews, testing and operations.
  • Define code structure, standards etc. for the team and champion best practices.
  • Identify opportunities on improving existing tools, frameworks and workflows.
  • Establish robust monitoring and logging mechanisms using tools like Prometheus, ELK stack, proactively identify and address performance issues and security threats.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to DevOps engineers, empowering them to achieve excellence in their roles and contribute to the overall success of the team.
  • Drive architectural decisions by collaborating with other functional and technical experts.

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • 6 -10 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience implementing distributed applications in a container environment (Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Strong programming with Python, Golang or C/C++.
  • Hands-on experience with Event Driven Architecture.
  • Exposure to storage skills: NFS, Object Storage.
  • Experience with Redhat Openshift will be a plus.
  • Good experience with Alerting and Monitoring tools like Prometheus, Jager etc.
  • Good experience with middleware like RabbitMQ, Kafka etc.
  • Basic experience with big data solutions like Elastic.
  • Basic experience with Analytical and Reporting solutions like Tableau, Grafana etc.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum-based environment.
