Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience with programming in C++.
- 5 years of experience with design and architecture; and testing or launching software products.
- Experience in managing and optimizing performance for large-scale computing infrastructure.
- Experience in managing architectural patterns and best practices for production environments.
- Experience with performance optimization, concurrency, and memory management in system programming.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role, with leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- 3 years of experience with working in a matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.

Responsibilities
- Develop compute infrastructure solutions that enable business growth for multiple Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML), specialized and general purpose Virtual Machines (VMs).
- Build goals to provide training, interference and computing VM families. Own end-to-end responsibility of enabling the technology to deliver the VM families, ensuring their availability, reliability, and performance, and work with partner teams to realize the goals.
- Mentor the team to expand new capabilities that extend the immediate project.
- Set and communicate team priorities that support the organization's goals. Align strategy, processes, and decision-making across teams.
- Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
