We're Hiring: Senior Staff Software Engineer – Agentic AI Platform
Join Gappify and help build the future of autonomous enterprise accounting. We're looking for a highly hands-on engineering leader to drive the evolution of our platform from deterministic SaaS to a next-generation Agentic AI ecosystem.

Role Overview
- This is a player-coach role where you'll spend approximately 70% of your time coding and 30% mentoring and leading engineers. You'll play a key role in building Gappify's enterprise-grade Agentic AI platform and Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server while driving technical excellence across the engineering team.
What You'll Do
- Architect and develop Gappify's Agentic AI platform using Java (Quarkus).
- Design and build our enterprise Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server.
- Build secure integrations with ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and P2P systems (Coupa, Tipalti).
- Develop scalable backend systems and modern React/TypeScript frontends.
- Lead architecture discussions, conduct code reviews, and mentor engineering teams.
- Implement enterprise-grade security using OAuth 2.1, RBAC, and HITL workflows.
- Build distributed cloud-native applications on AWS.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of software engineering experience.
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring/Quarkus, React & TypeScript.
- Experience leading technical teams while remaining hands-on with coding.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and scalable enterprise architecture.
- Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD (Jenkins/GitHub Actions).
- Exposure to LLMs, AI/ML, Agentic AI, MCP, function calling, or AI workflows is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of ERP/P2P integrations or FinTech products is a plus.
