As a Senior Staff Software Engineer AI/ML, you will play a key leadership role in driving Celigo's AI-first initiativesdesigning, developing, and deploying intelligent solutions that enhance automation, scalability, and customer experience.
You'll work on cutting-edge technologies including OpenAI, LangChain, Pinecone, Hugging Face, and AWS AI services, while mentoring engineers and shaping the company's AI strategy. Key Responsibilities
AI/ML Leadership & Architecture
- Lead evaluation, implementation, and deployment of advanced AI/ML frameworks such as OpenAI, LangChain, Pinecone, Spacy, and Hugging Face.
- Architect and build machine learning pipelines and microservices that power intelligent automation within Celigo's platform.
- Design and refine NLP models on the OpenAI platform for diverse enterprise use cases.
- Define AI/ML architecture standards, best practices, and reusable components to accelerate development velocity across teams.
Model Development & Deployment
- Develop, test, and optimize machine learning and NLP models to enhance data analysis, predictions, and integrations.
- Deploy and monitor AI-powered microservices on Kubernetes (K8s) and AWS, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Implement solutions through fully automated CI/CD pipelines with a focus on test automation and reproducibility.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Product Managers, Data Scientists, and Engineering teams to translate business requirements into technically sound, high-performing AI solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to balance technical feasibility, business impact, and time-to-market.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor and thought leader for AI adoption and innovation across the organization.
Security, Privacy & Best Practices
- Implement and advocate for strong data security, privacy safeguards, and ethical AI principles.
- Stay informed on industry best practices and emerging trends to ensure Celigo remains at the forefront of AI innovation.
Mentorship & Technical Leadership
- Lead by examplewriting high-quality, maintainable code and driving technical excellence within the team.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of learning, experimentation, and accountability.
- Contribute to long-term AI strategy and technical roadmap planning in collaboration with leadership.
Skills & Qualifications
Experience & Education:
- 8+ years of experience in software product development, with 4+ years in AI/ML, NLP, data science, or deep learning.
- Proven experience designing, developing, and scaling multi-tenant SaaS applications.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Technical Expertise:
- Strong proficiency in Python, with additional experience in Node.js.
- Hands-on experience integrating AI/ML solutions into production systems using cloud-native or hybrid architectures.
- Expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
