Responsibilities
We are seeking a Sr Staff Engineer with expertise in backend or full-stack development to design, develop, and optimize cloud applications and infrastructure for high-performance systems. Reporting to the Director, Software Engineering. You will be responsible for:
- Developing cloud-based services utilizing AWS tools such as Lambda, EC2, S3, DynamoDB, and RDS
- Implementing fault-tolerant, scalable distributed systems
- Collaborating with DevOps teams to manage CI/CD pipelines and cloud security
- Optimizing backend systems for performance and cost efficiency
- Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices
What We're Looking For (Minimum Qualifications)
- 8+ years of experience in system engineering for high-performance backend application
- Proficiency in Golang/C/C++ and Python/Java/.NET programming languages & Knowledge of database design (SQL and NoSQL) and optimization
- Experience in containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, etc.) is desired
- Experience with event-driven systems and messaging queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Familiarity with modern frontend technologies like React or Vue.js
- Understanding of graph databases (Neo4j) and optimization techniques
- Knowledge of observability tools such as Prometheus/Grafana and logging systems like ELK Stack
