We are seeking an experienced Senior Staff Nurse to join our Nursing Services team in India. The ideal candidate will have 5-9 years of experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating a strong commitment to patient care and clinical excellence.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
- Monitor patients vital signs and health status, documenting changes and communicating them to the medical team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Educate patients and their families about health management and disease prevention.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Assist in the development and implementation of nursing care plans.
- Participate in training and mentoring junior nursing staff.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and infection control protocols.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc Nursing) or equivalent nursing degree.
- Valid nursing license registered with the Nursing Council of India.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Proficient in administering medications and monitoring patient responses.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) and nursing documentation standards.
- Basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certification.
