Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with key stakeholders & IT leaders across all levels to drive solutions to meet business needs
- Design, create, improve, and modify data integration, data management and data visualization applications, project modules, and other software solutions within the Data and Analytics technical domain.
- Analyze business users needs to develop and implement ETL solutions using tools like Talend and/or IBM Datastage.
- Perform application tuning and optimization to enhance data warehousing, analytics, and BI applications Leverage extensive knowledge of data warehousing, data modeling, DevOps and CI/CD, API integration, big data, and cloud computing platforms such as Azure.
- Implement ETL solutions on Azure, including Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) and Azure Databricks for data processing.
- Utilize programming languages like Python, SQL, Unix Shell scripting, stored procedures, and Scala to build robust data solutions.
- Work as a lead team member under minimum guidance, employing DevOps tools like Jenkins and GitHub for streamlined software delivery, and collaborate within Agile teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
What You will Need (Minimum Qualifications):
- 8+ years of Engineering experience in Data and Analytics technical domain.
- 5+ years of ETL tool experience - Talend, DataStage, or Informatica.
- 5+ years of data modeling experience with tool like ERWIN and data profiling and analysis.
- 5+ years Programming and Scripting experience using Python, SQL, Unix Shell Scripting, Stored Procedures.
- 5+ years of experience with Snowflake or Netezza or Oracle databases.
- 3+ years of experience in Cloud Platforms (Azure, Snowflake), Cloud Data Processing (Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Databricks, Snowpark).
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps - CI/CD, Automation, DevOps Tools (Jenkins, JFrog, GitHub, Control-M).
- 2+ years of experience in API Platforms - such as Apigee.
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work up and down within the organization to influence others and achieve results
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in building customer analytics solutions and leveraging Azure cloud architecture.
- Experience in data and information management as it relates to Customer behavior and analytics trends and enterprise data and analytics.
- Experience in designing and developing software or infrastructure for scalable, distributed systems on Azure cloud.
- Ability to learn, understand and work with new emerging Martech technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Azure cloud/IT technology space.
