Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Develop, sustain and evangelize devOps methodology withing the organization for software and firmware development
- Take complete ownership of product delivery infrastructure development and operations
- Design optimized, reusable and scalable application deployment solution for microservices/traditional applications
- Automate Infrastructure provisioning and development processes
- Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
- Understanding the needs of stakeholders and use them to define platform backlog
- Writing automation code. Also, Reviewing, Testing and examining code written by others
- Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and fixes
- Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
- Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions
Your Profile
Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed
- 10+ years of experience in DevOps and related technologies
- Container orchestration platform (Kubernetes/OpenShift etc)
- CI platform, e.g., Jenkins
- Good understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Experience with Log Aggregation tools like ELK, etc.
- Understanding of at least one scripting language Python/bash/Perl
- Proficiency with modern development tools, like Git, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence etc.
- OpenShift pipelines
- Exposure to microservices tools landscape, e.g., Prometheus/Grafana, Tracing, service mesh etc.
- Experience with GitOps is a big plus
