Experience: 10+ years

This is a specialized SQL Server migration role, not a normal SQL DBA requirement. The strongest candidates must demonstrate actual large-scale on-premises SQL Server → AWS RDS migrations with customers, not simply AWS exposure or SQL Server administration. The migration execution experience around DMS + native Backup/Restore + Always On Distributed Availability Groups is particularly important.
