Role Summary
We are seeking an experiencedSQL Developerwith 810 years of handson expertise in database development, performance tuning, and data integration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing efficient database solutions, optimizing existing systems, and supporting business-critical applications. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Database Development
- Design, develop, and maintain complexSQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Build and optimizeETL processes, data pipelines, and integration workflows.
- Develop scalable database solutions to support application functionality and reporting needs.
Performance Optimization
- Performquery optimization, indexing, execution plan analysis, and database tuning.
- Troubleshoot database performance issues and implement long-term solutions.
Data Management
- Ensuredata quality, integrity, and securityacross environments.
- Support data migration, data modeling, and schema design activities.
Collaboration & Support
- Work closely withapplication developers, BI teams, data architects, and business analysts.
- Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system availability.
- Follow best practices for coding, version control, and documentation.
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Skills
- Strong expertise inSQL Server / Oracle / PostgreSQL / MySQL(customize as needed).
- Excellent knowledge ofTSQL/PLSQL, query tuning, indexing strategies, execution plans.
- Experience withSSIS / ETL tools / Data Factory (optional depending on org).
- Working knowledge ofdata modeling (OLTP & OLAP)concepts.
- Hands-on experience withstored procedures, triggers, functions, views, and complex joins.
- Familiarity withcloud databases(Azure SQL, AWS RDS, etc.) is an advantage.
- Exposure toPython/PowerShell scriptingis a plus.

- Ability to work independently and mentor junior developers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's/master's degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
