We are seeking a Senior SQL Architect to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of robust database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server. This role requires a strategic thinker with advanced technical expertise and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable SQL Server database systems
- Lead data modeling, database design, and ETL processes
- Collaborate with development teams for seamless database integration
- Maintain database standards, best practices, and technical documentation
- Troubleshoot complex database issues and optimize performance
- Implement robust security and compliance frameworks
- Mentor and guide junior database professionals
Mandatory Technical Skills
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with SQL Server
- Expert in T-SQL, data modeling, and performance tuning
- Experience with high availability solutions (Clustering, Mirroring, Always-On)
- Proficiency in SSIS, Azure Data Factory, or similar ETL tools
- Experience with Azure SQL and/or AWS RDS
- Strong understanding of security, business intelligence (BI), and data warehousing (DW) concepts
