Role Description
Job Responsibilities
1 Administer and support Oracle Exadata environments including RAC ASM and Grid Infrastructure
2 Perform database patching upgrades and performance tuning on Exadata systems
3 Monitor and manage storage cells compute nodes and Infiniband switches
4 Troubleshoot database and hardware issues in coordination with Oracle support
5 Implement and maintain backup and recovery strategies using RMAN and Data Guard
6 Ensure high availability and disaster recovery configurations are in place and tested
7 Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams for performance optimization

Requirements
- 7 to10 years experience as Exadata admin on prem and Cloud
- Strong handson experience with Oracle Exadata X7 and above preferred
- Strong handson experience with on prem Oracle Database to Exadata OCI database migration
- Proficiency in Oracle RAC ASM RMAN and Data Guard
- Proficiency in Oracle Autonomous DB
- Experience with Exadata monitoring tools eg OEM AWR ADDM
7Worked on Heavy databases 100 TB Filesystem and ASM
- Adding Disk in ASM and Adding datafiles in RAC temp files etc The skills you bring
- Establish and maintain sound backup and recovery policies and procedures RMAN backup Level0 level1 level2 Logical Backup Exports
- Different backup and recovery scenarios understanding through RMAN
- Restoration backup point in time recovery control file restoration datafile restoration
- Implement and maintain Database security create and maintain users and roles assign privileges
- Perform database tuning and performance monitoring Plan changing understanding how to fix plan
- Perform application tuning and performance monitoring
