Senior Specialist, Strategic Sourcing

Role Summary:

As a Senior Specialist in Strategic Sourcing & Procurement, you'll be responsible for working with your manager to: develop and lead strategic sourcing events of moderate complexity; writing and negotiating SOW terms and conditions; and analyzing spend associated with specific indirect spend categories. Your work will positively impact bottom-line results/value while minimizing risks, foster internal and external relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Understanding of indirect category sourcing process. Support indirect sourcing initiatives for multiple indirect categories to deliver on operational targets, savings goals, and business strategies.
• Conduct total cost modeling and sensitivity/scenario analysis to help team members understand trade-offs and benefits to multiple outcomes
• Lead sourcing initiatives under supervision of sourcing manager for Indirect categories, driving strategic improvements.
• Use sourcing tools to support departmental efforts to refine and improve procurement processes and policies.
• Manage relationships with business stakeholders and provide regular project status updates.
• Partner with multiple corporate functions (e.g., Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting, Legal, etc.) as part of your sourcing projects and related activities.
• Manage supplier governance models, ensuring critical strategic vendors adhere to operational, financial, and regulatory compliance standards.
• Simultaneously Lead multiple indirect sourcing initiatives for different Indirect categories
• Support commercial and contract negotiations to deliver cost savings, cost avoidance, and value‑creation targets through structured sourcing methods.
• Assist in the management of the contract renewal process.
• Execute RFI/RFP under supervision of Sourcing Manager and provide negotiation support.
• Manage the vendors regarding onboarding, offboarding, performance, and contract compliance

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor/master's degree in supply chain management, engineering, or business
• 4 to 6 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing
• Demonstrated capabilities of leading sourcing projects, contract negotiations and authoring, and driving savings/value
• Ability to build relationships through verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong relationship-building, verbal and written communication, interpersonal, motivational, and influencing skills; coordination across related disciplines and with key stakeholders.
• Experience coordinating teams and collecting insights.
• Understanding of multi-step strategic sourcing processes, sourcing tools, and strategies.
