Job Title Senior Specialist - Security Operations

The Fidelity Global Security (FGS) team ensures the integrity, availability and protection of Fidelity's primary assets, reputation, people, information, and facilities. The team has the responsibility of mitigating site risks and maintaining a safe and secure workplace through incident response and crisis management.
The Purpose of This Role

The Value You Deliver
- Serve as the primary point of contact for associates and act as the key decision-maker during emergencies and incident response related to premises security.
- Provide first responder services for life safety emergencies within the scope of operational assignments and training. This includes but are not limited to, medical emergencies, fire incidents, building evacuations, and responding to violent or unlawful conduct on Fidelity premises and/or Fidelity controlled space.
- Conduct proactive patrols of perimeters and floors to safeguard people, property, and information, while enhancing security awareness and visibility in the workplace.
- Ensure secure facilities and restricted areas, implementing and enforcing safety measures in line with established policies and procedures.
- Operate a range of security equipment, including fire extinguishers, first aid kits, fingerprinting devices, X-ray machines, and vapor tracers to maintain a safe and secure environment.
- Manage access control and security operations at fixed posts, entry points, and executive reception areas.
- Perform specialized duties related to facility access, security awareness, and project-based assignments.
- Oversee contract guard force operations, ensuring posts are properly staffed and briefed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business units and external partners, including peer groups and public safety agencies.
- Handle administrative tasks at security badging stations, including identity verification, badge creation, and access control processing. Assist with customer service requests related to facility access.
- Prepare clear and detailed incident reports for all events managed during the shift.

- Flexibility to work in shifts and adapt to changing situations.
- Strong critical thinking skills for rapid assessment and response.
- Good grasp of management practices for efficient service delivery.
Preferred Skills
- Working knowledge of Access Control, Video Surveillance, and Fire Alarm systems.
- Proficiency in MS Excel for reporting and analysis.
- Strong liaison and coordination skills.
The Expertise we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- 3-6 years of relevant work experience
- Professional certifications would be added advantage
