Job Description
The SAP ABAP Lead will play a crucial role in driving technical excellence and delivering high-quality SAP ECC and S/4HANA solutions. This position requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of ABAP development, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of ABAP developers, providing technical guidance and support.
- Design and implement scalable, high-performance SAP solutions, focusing on S/4HANA landscapes.
- Ensure code quality, governance, and adherence to best practices in ABAP development.
- Collaborate with functional and integration teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Conduct code reviews, provide feedback, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends, and drive innovation within the team.
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and meeting client expectations.
- Provide technical expertise and support during system integrations and migrations.
- Document and maintain technical specifications and architecture for future reference.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting knowledge sharing and team spirit.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience in ABAP development, with a strong background in SAP ECC and S/4HANA.
- Proven leadership skills and experience in managing and mentoring development teams.
- Expertise in SAP ABAP programming, including OOP concepts, performance tuning, and debugging.
- Strong understanding of SAP architecture, integration concepts, and system landscapes.
- Experience with SAP Fiori, UI5, and modern UI development is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a track record of delivering innovative solutions.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with clients and internal teams.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to working with cross-functional stakeholders.
