As a Senior Specialist, you will be at the forefront of technical development, guiding and mentoring a team of ABAP professionals. Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering high-quality SAP solutions, ensuring seamless implementation, and providing ongoing support. Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of ABAP developers, providing technical guidance and support.
- Design and develop efficient ABAP programs and modules, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver tailored SAP solutions.
- Implement and integrate SAP S/4HANA technologies, leveraging your expertise in technical architecture.
- Ensure code quality, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices to maintain high standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing timely support and solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends, and drive innovation within the team.
- Document and maintain technical specifications, ensuring clear and comprehensive records.
- Participate in project planning, estimating, and resource allocation, contributing to successful project delivery.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience in ABAP development, with a strong track record in SAP implementation and support projects.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA technologies and best practices, including technical architecture and design patterns.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to guide and mentor a team of developers.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a track record of resolving complex technical issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in code reviews and ensuring code quality, with a focus on maintaining high standards.
- Up-to-date with the latest SAP technologies and trends, and a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Proficiency in SAP development tools and environments, including ABAP Workbench and SAP GUI.
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Certifications in SAP ABAP and/or SAP S/4HANA are highly advantageous.
