Job Description
As a Senior Specialist, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and supporting SAP applications. Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering high-quality technical solutions that align with our functional teams needs. We are looking for a self-starter who can work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop SAP ABAP applications across various modules, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality development practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex SAP ABAP issues, providing timely support to internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and best practices, and implement them to enhance our systems.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with SAP standards and guidelines, maintaining the integrity and security of our systems.
- Document and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for future reference and knowledge transfer.
- Participate in project planning and estimation, providing accurate timelines and resource requirements.
- Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of our SAP landscape, suggesting enhancements and optimizations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with a strong understanding of SAP modules.
- Proficiency in ABAP programming, including OOPs concepts, and experience with SAP HANA is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex SAP issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation and migration projects is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with SAP UI5, Fiori, and other SAP frontend technologies is desirable.
- Knowledge of SAP Basis and system administration is beneficial for understanding the SAP landscape.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
