Job Description
As a Senior Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our SAP Planning - Delivery department. Your primary responsibility will be to design, implement, and support SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) solutions, with a specific focus on Response & Supply (Order-Based Planning). Working closely with both business and technical teams, you will ensure the seamless integration of SAP IBP with SAP ECC or S/4HANA, delivering efficient and effective supply planning solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of SAP IBP Response & Supply solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their supply planning needs and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality and functionality of SAP IBP implementations.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP IBP, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in SAP IBP and supply planning best practices, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to supply planning and SAP implementations.
- Document and maintain accurate records of SAP IBP configurations, customizations, and business processes.
- Participate in pre-sales activities, providing expert advice and demonstrations to potential clients.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP IBP Response & Supply consulting or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP IBP, including its functionality, configuration, and integration capabilities.
- Proven track record of successful SAP IBP implementations, particularly in the area of supply planning.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities, capable of identifying and resolving complex issues.
- Proficiency in SAP ECC or S/4HANA is highly preferred.
- Experience with SAP HANA and SAP Cloud Platform is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel as required for client engagements and project implementations.
