Job Description
We are looking for a talented and experienced SAP professional to join our team as a Senior Specialist. You will play a crucial role in driving the success of our SAP-S4 HANA Functional - Delivery department. Your expertise in SAP ABAP development will be instrumental in designing and implementing innovative technical solutions across various SAP modules. As a Senior Specialist, you will collaborate closely with functional teams, ensuring seamless integration and high-quality outcomes. Your leadership and problem-solving skills will be key in delivering exceptional results and driving the department's growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of SAP ABAP developers, providing technical guidance and support.
- Design, develop, and implement SAP applications, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure code quality, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices in development.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing timely support to the team.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends, driving innovation within the department.
- Document and maintain technical specifications, ensuring knowledge transfer and continuity.
- Participate in project planning, estimating effort, and providing accurate timelines.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure successful go-live of SAP projects.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to enhance their skills.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with a strong understanding of SAP modules.
- Proven experience in leading and managing SAP development teams, demonstrating strong leadership skills.
- Expertise in SAP ABAP programming, including OOPs concepts, Web Dynpro, and SAPUI5.
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and its architecture is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a track record of delivering innovative solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is an advantage.
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Certifications in SAP ABAP or SAP S/4HANA are highly desirable.
