Job Responsibilities:
1. Accountable for Indirect procurement and plant related requirement for Wind Turbine Blade Manufacturing
2. Develop vendor base and manage spend categories for supporting plant production
3. Managing supplier relations and negotiating contracts, prices, timelines, etc.
4. Managing the maintenance of office/manufacturing equipment and machinery.
5. Guide/Supporting the team to prepare cost estimates for buying plan
6. Manage company's supply portfolio ensuring transparency of spending.
7. Work with Global Sourcing teams to drive the cost down
8. Work independently with stakeholders from Manufacturing, Legal, Engineering etc. to drive initiatives to achieve the common goal
9. Develop innovative procurement strategies to reduce cost and deliver parts on time.
10. Focus on strategic actions through alternate sourcing / indigenization of key components.
11. Understand the MNRE / Customs Tariff for major commodities.
12. Contract Management skills.
13. Vendor Development & Relationship.
14. Forecasting through Analyse market condition and define future ready supply chain module.
Job Requiremnet:
1. Preferably looking for a candidate coming from a Renewable / Manufacturing industry
2. Experience –8-12 years
3. This will be an Individual Contributor role for Balde and responsible for leading the entire In-direct sourcing & Procurement for the Blade Factory.
4. Job location will be Trichy
5. Reporting to Procurement Head and matrixed to Plant Head/ HQ functional lead (as appropriate)
