Senior Specialist Merchant Partnerships, Singapore

We are seeking an experienced Senior Specialist Merchant Partnerships, Singapore to drive Alipay+ acceptance growth across Singapore. This client-facing role focuses on building and strengthening relationship with merchants, driving merchant excellence across high-potential, commercial districts in Singapore, enabling merchants to maximise sales capture from inbound tourists and local expats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop business plans with internal and external partners, working with tech/development team to scope out the tech integration requirement, structuring partner incentives to expedite roll out and ramp up merchant acquisition and revenue
• Coordinate with cross-functional team to manage partnership relationships, execute projects, construct/improve our solutions and ensure full risk & regulatory compliance
• Collaborate efforts with mechandising team to achieve high performances though innovative development of solutions/campaigns for our partners
• Formulate business strategies and execute in-country activities in line with partners needs and management directives
• Keep up to date of the latest industry trends, technology developments, anticipate changes in consumer behaviors and conduct regular pulse checks with business partners n the latest market changes

Requirements

• 3+ years working experience; familiar with local Cards/Payment industry, e-Commerce and retail industry; Strong finance and/or technology background will be preferred
• Proficient in English and Chinese speaking in daily work for liaising with local and China stakeholders; excellent cross-cultural communication skills
• Global view and clear thinking, strong communication / coordination / business negotiations skills
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams; coordinate each departments across different geographies and business units to achieve desired results
• Have entrepreneurial spirit at heart and have the ability to work under constant changing environments and keep enthusiasm and sense of responsibility
• Demonstrate successful drive for growth by keeping up to date with new technology solutions, competitive development and landscape and how to leverage Ant Group ecosystem to win over competitions
