Job Description

Manage and maintain MS SQL Server databases ensuring high availability and performance Perform database installation configuration and upgrades Monitor database performance and implement changes to improve efficiency Ensure data integrity security and backup recovery procedures are in place Collaborate with development teams to support database related requirements and troubleshoot issues Develop and maintain documentation related to database configurations and standards Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in MS SQL database administration

Roles and Responsibilities

Oversee daily database operations including monitoring tuning and troubleshooting Plan and execute database backup recovery and disaster recovery strategies Implement and enforce database security policies and access controls Conduct performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries and indexes Manage database capacity planning and growth forecasting Coordinate with cross functional teams to support application deployments and migrations Mentor and guide junior database administrators and team members Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards related to database management
