Role: z/OS and ISV System Administrator & MF Solution Architect.

Job Description:

8+ Years of Experience in Administering Mainframe Systems Infrastructure.

Install, configure, and maintain the z/OS operating system, hardware (hardware), and subsystems (JES2, CICS, TCP/IP).

Monitor system performance, tune parameters, manage workloads, and perform load balancing for optimal efficiency.

Develop and execute backup/recovery strategies and disaster recovery plans.

Apply fixes, patches, and upgrades for z/OS and related software using tools like SMP/E.

Develop and maintain automation scripts (REXX, CLIST) to manage tasks and improve Operations.

Provide technical guidance and support to developers and end-users.

Analyze and recommend system software updates to meet business goals.

Well versed with

• Tools: TSO/ISPF, SDSF, z/OSMF, SMP/E, HCD, HMC, IOCP, Main view.
• Languages: JCL, REXX, COBOL.
• Concepts: Parallel Sy plex, LPAR builds, IPL Procedures, WLM.

Well versed with ITIL Processes.

Strong analytical skills and willingness to learn, good communication skills.

Should well versed with providing Solutions (RFP/Q/I) for complex Infrastructures Clients.

Prior experience of submitting proposals and worked in conjunction with Sales teams are added advantage.
