Job Description

The Senior Specialist – HR / Legal IT is a techno‑functional role responsible for the design, development, enhancement, and support of HR and Legal technology solutions within an enterprise environment. This position combines strong hands‑on technical expertise with solid functional knowledge of HR and Legal business processes to deliver reliable, scalable, and compliant IT solutions.

The role involves hands‑on development using .NET Core, MVC framework, SQL Server, and modern web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with experience in Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint Lists. The Senior Specialist contributes to application and system architecture using .NET Core–based solutions, supports automation and low‑code initiatives, and ensures alignment with architectural standards and governance.

This position also plays a key role in building and supporting low‑code and automation solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint Lists, enabling process optimization and improved business efficiency. The Senior Specialist collaborates closely with business stakeholders, functional owners, architects, and cross‑functional IT teams to analyze requirements, design technical solutions, and ensure alignment with architectural standards and governance guidelines.

As a system‑level contributor, the Senior Specialist supports as‑is and to‑be application landscapes, participates in system design discussions, and contributes to overall solution architecture using .NET Core–based systems. The role operates with moderate supervision, demonstrates ownership of assigned applications or modules, and supports continuous improvement, modernization, and automation within the HR and Legal IT domain

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide end‑to‑end techno‑functional support for HR and Legal IT applications.
  • Analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into technical designs and solutions.
  • Design, develop, and support applications using .NET Core, MVC framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL Server.
  • Contribute to system and application architecture design using .NET Core–based technologies.
  • Build, enhance, and support solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint Lists.
  • Develop and maintain integrations, workflows, and automation to improve business processes.
  • Provide application lifecycle support including enhancements, bug fixes, testing, deployments, and documentation.
  • Deliver production support, incident resolution, root cause analysis, and performance tuning.
  • Ensure solutions comply with architectural standards, security requirements, and governance policies.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation and CMDB/application records.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, vendors, architects, and IT teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.
  • Mentor junior specialists and share technical and functional knowledge as required.

Qualifications / Skills & Experience Summary

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in a technical field such as computer science, MIS, engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of overall IT experience with a strong focus on application development and support.
  • Strong hands‑on experience with .NET Core, MVC framework, and backend development.
  • Practical knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for web‑based application development.
  • Strong SQL skills with experience in SQL Server, queries, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint Lists.
  • Solid functional understanding of HR and Legal business processes.
  • Experience contributing to system architecture and solution design using .NET technologies.
  • Strong problem‑solving, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
  • Nice to Have Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS
  • Experience deploying or supporting .NET Core applications in cloud environments
  • Azure and/or AWS certifications (e.g., Azure Fundamentals, Azure Developer Associate, AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Developer Associate)
