RoleWe are looking for an Engineering Senior Specialist for our bidder platform. In this role, you'll be part of a team responsible for developing the Real Time Bidding platform. This platform helps business users deliver client campaigns across digital platforms by participating in real-time auctions across hundreds of servers and responding to millions of requests per minute with a response threshold of a few milliseconds. The Bidder Platform team mission is to empower the customers and business stakeholders to deliver campaigns and achieve goals across digital platforms by implementing advanced targeting, audience scoring, optimization, and pacing features.
Engineers at VDX.tv develop next-generation products that power our scalable ad tech platform. Our solution enables advertisers across the globe to reach out to their consumers and deliver effective, engaging advertising. We're looking for engineers who are passionate about artificial intelligence, information retrieval, massive data pipelines, UI design, rich media frameworks, data insights, optimization, targeting strategies, and solving large-scale system design challenges.
You will work with a small team of engineers to solve software and infrastructure challenges in the AD Tech domain. You'll be expected to play an individual contributor role with high accountability, make a positive impact, and work well both as an individual contributor and a team player. The technical and cross-functional problems in this role require you to develop partnerships with other teams and understand their use cases.

- Work on algorithms and systems that power the audience's targeting, scoring, optimization, and pacing features.

Qualifications- Five-plus years of hands-on experience as an individual contributor responsible for developing and supporting software in production environments
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong foundation in computer science, including core data structures, algorithms, and analysis of running time and memory requirements
- Ability to develop scalable and reliable software for internet scale and real-time data processing
- Ability to develop and test hypotheses
- Experience with building real-time and batch-processing components with a strong systems orientation
- Experience with developing and deploying production systems using Java
- Experience with Kafka and data streaming paradigms
- Experience with distributed key-value stores and caching architectures
- Experience with Redis, Elastic Search, and SQL
- Experience with multi-threading and memory optimization techniques
Work Environment- We are a remote-first organization. This role is in India, but you can reside anywhere in India.
