Job Description

The Senior Specialist – Delivery Management will be responsible for driving the complete lifecycle of SAP S/4 HANA implementation projects within Bristlecone's Technical – Delivery department. Working closely with customers, project teams, and internal stakeholders, the role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, at the highest quality standards, and within budget, while fostering strong relationships and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of S/4 HANA implementation projects, from kickoff to post‑go‑live support.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality, ensuring alignment with contractual commitments.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams, vendors, and partners to achieve seamless execution.
• Act as primary liaison with customers and internal stakeholders, maintaining transparent communication.
• Identify, monitor, and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing corrective actions promptly.
• Enforce Bristlecone delivery methodology and SAP best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge‑sharing across delivery teams.
• Prepare and present regular status reports, executive dashboards, and financial updates.
• Oversee resource planning, allocation, and capacity management to meet project demands.
• Conduct post‑implementation reviews, capture lessons learned, and ensure knowledge transfer.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of IT project delivery experience, with at least 4 years focused on SAP S/4 HANA.
• Proven track record of managing large, complex SAP implementations end‑to‑end.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Activate methodology and SAP best practices.
• Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets and financial reporting.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or SAP Certified Delivery Manager certification preferred.
• Experience with both Agile and Waterfall delivery models in hybrid environments.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making capabilities.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and develop junior delivery staff.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA is a plus.
