About the Job:

Rakuten Mobile is at the forefront of data-driven innovation. Having successfully implemented robust data platforms and AI agents, we are now entering a phase of data monetization. We are seeking a Data Monetization Strategic Alliances Manager to act as a key bridge between RMI Data Monetization unit and external partners.

In this role you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating and managing data monetization strategic partners (tech, product, GTM). Our aspiration is to grow revenue and build long-term profitable business models for RMI data monetization. You will be accountable for orchestrating the partner ecosystem to deliver both bottom- and top-line revenue as well as driving data monetization initiatives success.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive the identification and evaluation of potential partners for powering data monetization initiatives.
  • Manage, grow, and nurture relationships with identified partners and create opportunities for execution and scale.
  • Collaborate with RMI strategy and product teams to identify greenfield and brownfields for data monetization avenues.
  • Develop execution roadmaps and drive negotiations.

Required Qualifications:

Education: MBA, BTech (Optional)

Experience: 5-8 years of experience in managing partnerships, presales, solutioning. Preferably Worked in consulting organizations on data strategy, Pre-sales, partnerships or data monetization field.

Proficiency:

  • Proven ability to manage strategic alliances and maximize mutual value through revenue growth.
  • Strong functional understanding of data monetization and AI/ agentic models.
  • Strong presentation and problem-solving skills at both strategic and techno-functional levels.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior-level decision-makers at RMI and partner organizations.
  • Effective client-facing interaction skills, including negotiation tactics.
