Job Title: Senior Specialist, CSR Partnerships
Location: Delhi/NCR or Mumbai (with moderate travel for donor meetings & site visits)
Employment Type: Full-time
Experience Level: Mid-Senior (4–8 years)
About the Role:
Avanti Fellows is looking for a Senior Specialist, CSR Partnerships to join our fundraising engine as a frontline revenue driver. This is not a back-office grants role. You will own a portfolio of corporate CSR partnerships, close new funding, and help shape the CSR function as we scale nationally.
You'll be in the room with decision-makers, building relationships with CSR heads and corporate foundations, and managing the full partnership lifecycle—from pitch to compliance. If you thrive on autonomy, building systems, and driving measurable impact in education and gender equity, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and close new CSR partnerships (1Cr+ grants)
- Build and manage long-term relationships with CSR heads and corporate foundations
- Own end-to-end partnership lifecycle: proposals, renewals, upsells, compliance, and reporting
- Help build processes, templates, and systems for a rapidly scaling CSR function
- Collaborate with programs, finance, and leadership teams to ensure seamless execution
Who We're Looking For:
- 4–8 years in CSR fundraising, corporate partnerships, or institutional giving in India's nonprofit/social enterprise space
- Independently managed 5–10+ active CSR relationships and closed grants in the 1Cr+ range
- Strong knowledge of CSR regulations (Section 135, Schedule VII, compliance timelines)
- Excellent written communication – proposals and impact reports are core to your work
- Energized by building in a high-ownership, fast-paced environment
- Genuine commitment to Avanti's mission: empowering low-income & marginalized students (especially females) in STEM
What Probably Won't Work:
- Pure corporate sales backgrounds with no exposure to CSR-specific cycles
- People who need fully pre-built processes
- Those who struggle with written communication
- Candidates seeking a strategy-only role without hands-on execution
