Job Description
As a Business Consultant, you will play a vital role in leading process harmonization across manufacturing operations. Your expertise will be instrumental in partnering with global process owners and plant SMEs to define business requirements and conduct fit-gap analyses. The successful candidate will ensure the seamless integration of MFG processes with other key areas, develop comprehensive process documentation, and provide support during system testing and go-live adoption phases.
Responsibilities
- Lead process harmonization across manufacturing operations, including planning, scheduling, execution, and performance monitoring.
- Partner with global process owners and plant experts to define business needs and conduct fit-gap analyses.
- Integrate MFG processes with Procurement (P2P), Order-to-Cash (OTC), Quality Management (QM), and Inventory Management (IM).
- Develop detailed process documentation, including flows, SOPs, and readiness deliverables for global deployment.
- Support system testing, data readiness, cutover, and go-live adoption activities, ensuring a smooth transition.
- Engage with stakeholders, facilitate discussions, and manage changes effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- 8-10 years of consulting experience with a strong focus on manufacturing processes, particularly in production planning, quality management, and manufacturing execution.
- Previous consulting experience is mandatory, with a preference for candidates from Big 4 or Tier 1 IT services consulting firms.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage manufacturing transformation initiatives in large, global organizations.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and change management skills, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Experience in Discrete Manufacturing, CPG, or Process Industries is essential for this role.
- SAP ECC / SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing or PP/DS experience is highly advantageous and will be given preference.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Operations Management is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Openness to travel for global workshops, testing, and go-live support as required by the project.
