About The Role
As a Lead Business Analyst, you will act as a key liaison between business and technical teams, translating business needs into actionable requirements and managing project workflows, mainly for our Mobile App. The role involves analysis and delivery of mobile applications in a rapidly evolving Asset Management industry, bridging business, product, UX, and technology teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and development teams to elicit end-to-end business requirements for iOS/Android mobile application.
- Serve as a liaison between business units and IT teams to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
- Translate business needs into detailed user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria in Jira.
- Maintain and manage Jira boards, workflows, and dashboards to support agile project tracking.
- Analyze current business processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Work closely with Quality Assurance and development teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented correctly.
- Demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate business requests into technical specifications and to challenge and refine requests when appropriate.
- Drive adoption of AI responsibly to improve quality and efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Good knowledge of Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau, with a proven ability to analyze data using dashboards and reports.
- At least 10+ years in Business Analysis leading cross regional projects, including 3+ years within the technology function in Asset Management / Financial Services domain (alternatives, portfolios, fintech). Mobile/digital focus is a plus.
- Strong experience using Jira in Agile/Scrum environments, with proficiency in drafting user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.
- Excellent project management and communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate and present information to stakeholders.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and resourceful, with a proven ability to stay organized and manage tasks efficiently.
- Certifications such as CBAP, Agile BA, PMP, or CSPO are considered assets.
- Familiarity with leveraging AI assisted tools such as Microsoft 365 Copilot, Rovo and AI enabled platforms for requirements gathering and documentation.
- Apply AI assisted tools to improve reporting, and insights, while ensuring human validation, and governance.
