Job Summary:

We're looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer to join our Professional Services team as a trusted technical advisor to global retail brands transforming their in-store and omnichannel experiences. You'll be involved from project discovery through execution, working closely with clients, solution partners, and product and engineering teams.

This is a senior individual contributor role for someone with strong development experience who enjoys client-facing problem-solving. You'll own the technical direction of complex implementations and mentor more junior team members. This role reports to the Director of Solution Architecture.

What you'll do:

• Partner with clients and internal delivery teams to gather, validate, and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Architect solutions leveraging the cloud platform and AWS, integrating with existing eCommerce, POS, Order Management, Fulfillment, and ERP systems.
• Design and implement customizations to core functionality to meet client-specific business needs.
• Guide client technology teams and solution partners through hands-on leadership, clear documentation, and technical recommendations.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact throughout the project lifecycle, from discovery to go-live.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management and Engineering to align customer needs with platform capabilities and help influence the product roadmap.

What you need to have:

• Experience building on serverless and cloud infrastructure, including AWS or similar platforms, as well as working with APIs, event-driven architectures, and GraphQL.
• Familiarity with retail and commerce systems, including eCommerce, POS/mPOS, OMS, CRM, ERP, and fulfillment platforms.
• A proven track record of client-facing technical work, including discovery, solution design, and delivery.
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with ambiguous requirements.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively translate between business stakeholders and engineering teams.
