About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Solution Architect with strong presales and solutioning expertise to drive customer engagements, shape winning technology solutions, and support strategic business growth. This role requires a blend of technical leadership, customer-facing consulting skills, and deep hands-on experience in Java and/or .NET technologies.

As part of the AI Productivity Center of Excellence (COE), you will play a key role in incorporating modern engineering practices, including AI-enabled and Agentic SDLC approaches, into customer solutions and digital transformation initiatives. You will work closely with sales, delivery, engineering, and customer stakeholders to define innovative, scalable, and business-aligned technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Presales & Solutioning

• Partner with Sales, Business Development, and Delivery teams to qualify opportunities and define winning solution strategies.
• Lead customer discovery sessions, technical workshops, solution presentations, and executive-level discussions.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable, practical, and cost-effective technology solutions.
• Develop solution proposals, effort estimates, Statements of Work (SOW), architecture documents, and responses to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.
• Support pursuit planning, solution positioning, and competitive differentiation during customer engagements.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales lifecycle.

Solution Architecture & Technical Leadership

• Design end-to-end enterprise solutions using Java and/or .NET technology stacks, cloud platforms, APIs, microservices, and modern application architectures.
• Define architecture blueprints, integration strategies, application modernization roadmaps, and technology recommendations.
• Ensure solutions align with customer objectives, scalability requirements, security standards, and operational needs.
• Collaborate with engineering and delivery teams to validate feasibility and ensure successful implementation of proposed solutions.
• Provide architecture governance and technical guidance during transition from presales to delivery.

Customer Engagement

• Build strong relationships with customer stakeholders, including business leaders, architects, and IT decision-makers.
• Present complex technical concepts in a clear and business-focused manner to executive and non-technical audiences.
• Drive customer confidence through consultative engagement and thought leadership.
• Travel to customer locations for workshops, discovery sessions, solution discussions, and business presentations as required.

AI & Innovation

• Leverage enablement from the AI Productivity COE to adopt and promote Agentic SDLC practices.
• Incorporate AI-driven development, automation, productivity tools, and modern engineering methodologies into solution designs.
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery efficiency, quality, and innovation through AI-powered approaches.
• Contribute to organizational capability building around emerging technologies and next-generation software engineering practices.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, and enterprise application development.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java and/or .NET technology stacks with proven delivery success on large-scale enterprise projects.
• Demonstrated experience in presales, solution consulting, technical bid management, and customer-facing engagements.
• Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture, cloud-native solutions, APIs, microservices, and modern software development practices.
• Experience creating solution proposals, architecture artifacts, estimations, and customer presentations.
• Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a consultative approach.
• Ability to engage confidently with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel for customer engagements and business development activities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with public cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, containerization, and Kubernetes-based deployments.
• Exposure to AI, Generative AI, Copilot, Agentic AI, and modern software engineering practices.
• TOGAF, Cloud, or Architecture certifications will be an added advantage.
• Prior experience in digital transformation, modernization, and enterprise integration initiatives.
